 PROJECT OVERVIEW

PartyStation is a local multiplayer party game for PlayStation 5, inspired by Mario Party. Players compete across six minigames, including bowling, archery, balloon popping, and survival challenges. Each round awards points, with the highest-scoring player crowned the winner at the end of the competition.

Developed as a team project at Kingston University in 2022, PartyStation was built using Unity and the official PlayStation 5 Development Kit. The project's primary objective was to explore the DualSense controller's capabilities by designing interactive prototypes around its gyroscope, touchpad, adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and built-in speaker.

As a Gameplay Programmer, I was responsible for developing the Bowling minigame, incorporating DualSense-specific interactions into its gameplay. Players use motion controls, the touchpad, and triggers to position, aim, and launch the bowling ball, while controller vibration and audio provide feedback during collisions.
